Conductor Thomas Dausgaard, recently appointed music director of the Seattle Symphony, and passionate pianist Francesco Piemontesi lead this sparkling evening of myth and Mozart. “Soulful and playful” (Cleveland Plain Dealer), Piemontesi sheds light on the nuances of Mozart’s B-flat major concerto, written in the final year of the composer’s life. Dausgaard, who led a “blazing” Missa Solemnis (New York Times) at last year’s White Light Festival, brings radiant clarity to the beloved “Jupiter” Symphony.
